Conditional Quiz Slide

Jan 16, 2015

Hi Everyone.  I have created a "pick-from" menu where participants choose vocabulary from a list, and when they return to the menu, the choices they made are changed to a different color.

My question is, does Storyline have a listener function similar to Adobe Flash where I can generate a pop-up quiz once 3 options have been clicked?

Similarly, how can I move an object on the menu screen after a partipant returns to the menu.

I did a search but this seems to be an obscure request so I can't find any relevant topics.

Thanks.

Nick

Hello Nick!

Welcome to the community. You could have the course jump to a quiz after all the buttons have been clicked. you could use a trigger to jump to slide (quiz slide) upon timeline starting of the main menu on condition that each button is visited.

I am not familiar with the pop up quiz in Flash, but if you needed slide to have a pop up effect, you could use the Lightbox Slide trigger.

As far as moving something on the slides when they return to the menu - you could use a motion path (if you are using Storyline 2) and have a trigger to move this upon timeline started on condition that said object is in visited state.
