Conditions/Variables and tab interaction

Jun 15, 2019

Hi there,

Thanks for bearing with me for my first post requesting support. I am trying to have two objects (an arrow and a bath bomb) appear on the timeline when all the icons have been visited.  Something isn't working with the conditions/variables I have set. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Hi Leigh,

Although you have created a variable called IconsVisited, which is designed to change the state of your Continue arrow when it changes, I cannot see anywhere where you actually change the variable.

You could do this one of two ways:

a.  Use a numerical variable and add one to the variable each time one of the icons is clicked and then change the state of the Continue arrow once the variable is greater than 4 (or equal to 5). However, this will not differentiate between someone clicking on each of the icons as opposed to clicking on one icon several times.

b.  Allocate a True/False variable to each icon, which changes to True when the icon is clicked and change the state of the Continue arrow when all of these are True. Users will only be able to progress once each icon has been clicked.

If you have problems setting this up, just give a shout here and help will be at hand.
