Conflicting states Storyline 3

I've got a slider in my slide to create a timeline. There are 5 different points on the slider. All the point have buttons which take you to a different slide for more information about that period in time. 

I want all the buttons to appear normal at first. If the slider is on them, to appear chosen (just a bigger button with the word 'start'), then once they've clicked on the button, for the button to appear visited.

My states seem to be overlapping. My slider triggers say to appear chosen when slider equals 1 (or depends which button), and a trigger to appear visited once user has clicked on. 

The problem is the states over lap, they appear chosen and visited at once, even if the slider is on a different box. I.e. The slider may be on box 3, and box one 1 and 2 appear visited and chosen!

I've deleted all the triggers apart from the slider, and the 'jump to slide' and I'm still having the same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
