I'm creating an interaction (sort of like tab interaction). The opening base layer has valid information which I'd like user to be able to access any point. How do I connect one of the buttons to the base layer?
Thanks Ashraf but I'm not sure I understand this suggestion. I only want the layer to be access from the slide's base layer not every slide. Could you clarify your suggestion a little. Thanks
I'm also not sure I'm clear on what you're looking for, so sharing a .story file may help clarify. You may also want to take a look at the slide layer properties as you could set it so that you can click on elements on the base layer.
Hi Ashley - I think I know what I need to do know. Show elements from the base layer on other layers. Only just playing around with a few ideas at the moment so no story file to share. Bu thanks anyway. Onwards with playing :-)
Playing and experimenting seems to be the best way to learn Storyline - so keep us posted if you get stuck and we'll be happy to take a look. From that link I shared you'll also be able to access all the other tutorials that may assist in other questions too!

You can use the slide master for this purpose. In this way, the user can access it from any slide.
