Content is "disappearing"

I am working in Storyline 360. When I open up a project, I can see my content in the story view; when I open a slide the thumbnail view on the left is blank, and the slide view in the center is blank, but the timeline still shows all of the items that should be showing up. I have opened two different projects and the same thing is happening. I just upgraded to Windows 10 but I see that SL360 is compatible.
Any thoughts on what is happening and how to fix?

Additional information: We have another Articulate 360 license on a different computer that is still running Windows 7, and I am able to see everything when I open the project on that computer. Does it make sense that it is an issue with Windows 10?
One more update: this happens when working locally. I am including an image of what I see.

Hi Adena,
It could be that something happened with Storyline upon installation of Windows 10, but it's not common! I'm happy to hear you're working locally and that the file is intact on another computer - those would be the first two things I'd check.
Next, I'd look at repairing Storyline and checking that it's installed to your C: drive with admin rights. You'll activate it as a user, but it does need to be installed as an admin. You'll also want to check that the Windows environment meets the requirements here.

Thank you for the help. I was able to import the projects that were "acting up" into new projects and work with them successfully. I am going to go check out the links you shared and see if there is anything I can do to prevent this from happening.
