Continue button and text automatically added to feedback slide
Nov 30, 2016
Hi everyone!
I'm new in the forum so be cool :)
I have some problems with the feedback master. I have made some modifications to give the correct/incorrect/review slide a more personalised look.
I have made these modifications into the feedback master.
Here are the modifcations that I have done:
- Added some text
- Added an icon for correct and wrong
- Added a shape with a background color
- Deleted the default continue button
- Deleted the default background and texts
To this point all went great.
But after creating a simple graded slide with the question, answers and correct/incorrect/review feedback, the default "Correct" "That's right! You selected the wright response and "Continue" are automatically added to the correct/incorrect layer.
How to remove these textboxes and the continue button from the feedback master slide? Actually,I need to remove these texts and button one by one on each slide of my quiz.
I hope I was clear enough and apologize for my aproximative English.
Thanks for your help!

Hi there Carlos! Welcome to the community! And don't worry - we're all cool here. :)
I'd like to take a closer look at your feedback master. Would you mind sharing your file here? Just click the Add Attachment button at the bottom of the reply window.
Hi thanks for your answer! Here is the file. I hope that will help you to understand my problem. You can see the result in slide 2.
Thanks for your answer!
Hi Carlos,
I took a look at your project. The continue button and feedback text that you see on those slides are not on the feedback slide, but on the correct and incorrect layers on slide 2. You can just turn off those layers in your timeline.
Storyline always creates a continue button, and a feedback text box in the correct and incorrect layers, and the triggers for the continue button. If you don't want those to show on your slide when you create your question slides, it is best to not delete them on your master slides but move them off stage. Then when you create a new question slide, they will not be visible in those layers on your slide. Be sure to add something back onto the slide for navigation though, so your users don't get stuck on that slide.
It looks like Dave was able to pop in and help you here, Carlos! Let us know if you have any further questions!
Thanks Dave!
I moved the continue button and feedback text off the stage. And then I created my own design on the feedback master. Now the automatic texts and continue button are not displayed on my slide.
Thanks for your support!
Cool! I'm glad that worked out.
