When I put a free-form quiz question (select one) in the middle of a course, how do I get the course to proceed to a specific slide after the user has selected the correct answer?
It depends on how you have the free form quiz question set up. Are you showing feedback layers? If not, are you just wanting the learner to be taken to another portion of the quiz then they select "Submit" and have the correct answer selected?
Are you able to post your .STORY file here, so I can take a quick look? If so, maybe I can provide some suggestions.
I'm using free form and giving them 3 attempts, so the standard feedback appears after they hit "submit." I'm afraid to post the file here. It's huge and embarrassing right now. (hehehe)
One option would be to apply a trigger to the buttons that appear on the feedback layers. So, if a learner selected the correct answer and they see that prompt, they can click on the "Continue" button and jump to a specific slide. You can do this with a "Jump to slide" trigger. You could also do this with the incorrect feedback prompt, as well, if you want to take the learner to a slide where they can study material on the subject.
If you'd like to share the file for some additional suggestions, and want to keep it private, you're always welcome to send it to us. Any files sent to us will remain confidential. If you want to make sure I see the file, just share the number with me, or simply state you'd like the case assigned to me
If you do decide to send it over for me to take a look, you can attach the .STORY file on the second page of this form.

No problem!

Aha! Oh my gosh, I can't believe I missed the Layers! I was looking in the "Edit Pick One" box for the layers. I blame Monday.
Let me give that a shot. Thank you so much!!
No problem! Monday happens
I hope that works out for you, Teresa!
