I have an background template that I would like to use continuously through the online course I am developing. Right now, I've been creating a new scene, inserting a new slide, and then importing the background template into Storyline before I can add the course content. Is there a faster and easier way to deal with this each time I add a new slide?
For information on working with backgrounds within Storyline, you'll want to follow the steps outlined here. Another way to control the look of your slide backgrounds is by creating and applying slide master layouts. You can find out more in the tutorial onUsing Slide Masters.
Just to clarify, the slides I want to use were created in PowerPoint for us by our Marketing team. I've been importing each slide individually as I go or duplicating a slide. I need to know how to keep that slide going in my project. Does that make sense?
Have you already tried to create these slides as a Storyline template, so then you could choose the slide template as you're working? You'll want to start from a new project, import the powerpoint slides, and then save it as a template based on the directions linked above, and then follow those directions to apply the template to your Storyline project.
