When/where are you wanting to control the videos in your project? If you're wanting to control the video while you're modifying a slide, then you can use the spacebar to pause/play the slide.
If you're wanting to use keyboard shortcuts once the course is live, or published, you could add triggers to the media, but it depends on how you plan on publishing the course. For example, some keyboard shortcuts (even when triggered) won't work properly when a course is published for CD.

Actually I want to use the function after course is published & while using the course for presentation to an audience from PC not live.
Instead of using a mouse sometimes it will be convenient to use keyboard to control a video for discussion.
I hope this function will be properly available soon.
