Storyline doesn't publish to a single file and creates a series of folders and files in the published output, but you could run the published version and use a tool like Replay to record it playing. Replay is free with an existing Storyline license.
I have heard a few users mention before that they need to set their microphone and audio settings specifically to capture the internal audio, vs. the microphone just picking up the sound as it plays through your computer speakers (as that may cause some feedback issues). You could also look at extracting the audio from your Storyline course and then importing into Replay.
Hi Ashley and everyone, How do you set the microphone and audio settings to capture internal audio? Is this done within Replay? Where are the settings to do this? Also, the screen capture only captures about 1/3 of the image area selected. How do you encourage Replay to record the area selected to record?
Thanks for reaching out. Recording the internal audio isn't often a default setting within Replay, but you can change the Windows settings as described in threads such as this one.

Replay doesn't seem to pick up the audio from the published Storyline project!
Hi S,
Are you trying to capture the audio internally or through the microphone and the audio playing in your computer speakers?
Internally - since the audio is already embedded in Storyline.
