Converting Presenter files to html 5 via Storyline

Jun 13, 2013

Hello everybody. I am curious as to whether it is possible to convert existing Articulate Presenter files to html 5 output using Storyline. We just purchased Storyline, and we have a bunch of presentations that were done in Presenter that we'd like to now "retrofit" to play in html 5. Can Storyline do this? Thanks!

Welcome to the community, Allan!

It honestly depends on the type of content you're pulling in from the Presenter project and whether or not that content is supported in Storyline and HTML5.

Here's some articles and tutorials you may want to read before you start:

Things to consider when importing PowerPoint into Storyline

Comparing Storyline's Flash, HTML5 and Articulate Mobile Player output

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks and welcome again, Allan!

Hi Cheri and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! I don't have any update from Allan and you may want to shoot him a PM if you'd like to hear from him as I'm not sure that he's subscribed to the thread.

Allan's issue was that he wanted them to be HTML5, which is why he was turning to Storyline at the time, but our newest suite, Studio '13, is now able to be published in HTML5.
