I am experiencing another issue with copy and paste in layers. I am attempting to copy objects from the base layer into the layers since they are not showing up, but it is not working. Any advice?
I do have a fill on the background, I changed the background color to ink on the base layer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm stuck at the moment.
If you want your base layer objects to not be hiding on your slide layers, you can change that as a slide layer property setting (un check "hide base layer objects") or within the timeline you'll see that the base layer set up is collapsed, and if you open that up you can toggle the "eye" icon to be able to include them on your layer individually.
Did you place a solid fill background on your slide layers? If so, that will sit on top of your base layer and therefore cover up elements on the base layer.

Hi Ashley,
Yes, that option is unchecked on my layer settings. I read in a previous post it has something to do with the solid fill bg. Is that correct?
