Copyright When it Comes to E-Learning Packages

May 05, 2015

Hi guys, I'm not entirely sure how copyright goes when creating E-Learning products you intend to sell. At the moment I'm working on a course for Social Media Marketing and it's completely fine to use all logos and fonts from Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, so long as you follow their guidelines. We have avoided using real Twitter/FB/LI pages for the purposes of copyright. But we have seen other companies, such as Lynda, use company pages which I'd assume to be copyright.

I plan on doing a section on the Bacon (Erdos) Number principle for LinkedIn, and it would genuinely make my day if I could slap a picture of Kevin Bacon on there from Wikipedia. Would this be breaching copyright?
