Seems like a gross oversight that Storyline doesn't have built-in print functionality. I know JavaScript triggers can be added, but that seems more than a bit problematic.
I like to provide students with in-line reflective prompts or
templates/worksheets to fill in. I'd like to use variables for the text
entries and compile them at the end, and then have the students print them
off or save them. I can do it all in JavaScript, but there are issues with
mobile and accessibility.
we should put in a feature request for a built-in print functionality.
In the meantime, I'm considering using Google forms - they allow you to send yourself an email of your filled out form so you have a saved copy which you can print...
Thanks for chiming in! I'm sorry you're having trouble with the Print Result button, and it looks like you also started a new thread on this topic. Let's continue the conversation over there!

What do you want to print? If it is the course as a whole, publish to Word.

I'm having exactly the same issue!

not at all an elegant solution 😒

That's a different issue. The functionality I'm looking for here is for students to fill out a form or a journal, and be able to print it off.
