Cornerstone On Demand and Articulate Menu Issue

I am using Articulate Storyline version 1: 1208.1316. I am VERY new to Articulate and CSOD. I am trying to upload an Articulate title to CSOD using SCORM 2004 ver.3 so testing reporting will work to our expectations.
The problem I am encountering is displayed below in the screen shot. The left side of the screen is taken up by a useless menu. Intelladon support for Cornerstone is little help. They recommend modifying the imsmanifest.xml file. I have no idea how to do this or what they are talking about. Every communication with them yields the same confusing answers. Web serches are usless. There is little or no mention of XML file modification in the Articulate forums or help titles. Any help would be much appreciated.

Update. I modifed the imsmanifest.xml file to Cornerstone's requirements but it did not fix the display problem with the uploaded story.
Hi Marion! I wanted to welcome you to E-Learning Heroes! Modifying published output is not something that Articulate supports, but hopefully someone in the community may be able to assist you with this.

I am having the same issue. We have published in SCORM 2004 v 3 and have tried adjusting story size. Below is a screenshot of what we are seeing. I know this post is older. I'm hoping someone has found a solution.
