Correct feedback layer showing up incorrectly

Dec 12, 2017

Hello fellow eLearning enthusiasts!

I'm working on a project for a client and have stumbled into a strange situation. The correct feedback layer shows up inappropriately in a certain set of circumstances:

1. It only can happen on drag and drop questions where there is more than one drop item/target.

2. First, the learner must get the question correct, and move on to the next slide.

3. Then, the learner moves back to the question slide. I have the slide set to return to initial state.

4. After returning, the learner drops one of the targets correctly, but leaves some of the targets unpaired. This will inappropriately trigger the correct feedback. So they haven't actually placed something incorrectly (which will trigger the incorrect feedback), but they should be getting the question wrong, as all targets have not been dropped.

A truncated project file is attached if it helps. It's a very particular set of circumstances, and I don't think it impacts learning (after all, they have to get the question correct once). However, my client is very displeased and wants a solution- help!

Cheers,

Melissa
