The 'X' on the correct/incorrect banner on the course quiz review screen does not seem to be working consistently.
As this screen is something we cannot tamper with I was curious as to why this behavior is happening. It doesn't work when I preview the course and now doesn't seem to work in our QA environment.
This has been working on all other courses in the past.
I have attached an image so you can see which feature I am referring to.
I haven't heard anything from this and we have a product release coming up. We cannot release with this bug and would like to escalate. Do you have a process for this? It seems like a pretty straightforward fix to me.
Is there a reference number that I can have for this bug fix?
So, on further investigation, I find that the functionality is there but the target for the mouse-click is incredibly small.
If you have the mouse pointer directly on the center of the 'X' it seems to work. This should be a really easy fix for your team as it only involves resizing the target area to something more practical.
I completely agree with Ediana and Teg about the color scheme. I also wish we had the option to completely remove the banner because I tend to build correct and incorrect slide layers that appear on review OR I redesign the answer choices to show the correct or incorrect answer.
Hey folks, and thank you for your thoughts! Nicole from our community team made a great tutorial on creating custom quiz review layers that might work better for your design. I hope that's helpful!
Great news! We just released another update for Articulate 360 and included a few important fixes that you'll see in the release notes here.
The item you'll be interested in is:
Fixed: Learners couldn't close the correct/incorrect banner on question slides during quiz review, and courses sometimes locked up when reviewing or retrying question bank quizzes.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline 360. Details here.
I wanted to pop in to let you know we've released a fix for this issue in Storyline 3 where the close banner was not working during quiz review. You'll find that fix available in the latest update to Storyline 3, which is Build 3.7.20003.0.

Hi Teg
I'm seeing the same behaviour in v3.23.17522 - the X doesn't close the banner down like it used to.
I am on version 3.23.17480.0 so maybe need to update, again...
It's not working on the version I'm on - so I think there is an issue.
Thanks for the details.
I was able to see the same issue in my testing.
I'm getting this issue reported to our team and will attach this conversation as well.
I have a major submission and just noticed the same problem.
Any resolution on this?
Hi there, Ediana. So sorry you've come across this problem.
No news on a fix yet, but I promise we'll share all updates here once we have them and update the Storyline 360 Version History page. You're in the right place, and here's a peek at how we tackle bugs like this one!

Hi Teg,
Thanks for reaching back out. I verified that the user impact is reflected on the issue and it looks like Katie shared our process above.
I do not have any additional information on this issue.
It is working correctly in Update 21, which was the October 30th release if you would like to roll back in the meantime.
As a reminder, here is a list of all of the bug fixes and new features released since then.

Thank you for the reply Katie. I noticed the latest update took care of it.
I'd like to add that in addition, would be great to allow the bar/banner to be edited to match the course color theme.
The last update partially took care of it. See my previous comment.
I totally agree with you Ediana, we have a muted color scheme and this looks jarring in comparison.
