I swear I had this working last week. I have a simple running countdown timer that I would like visible on every slide. When I went back into the course today, the timer pauses when you advance to a new slide. I'm sure it's something simple.
I'm not sure what your particular problem is, but I noticed that your timer seems overly complicated, with three motion paths and eight variables, and so have attached an example of a basic countdown timer that uses just a single motion path and two variables. This can be set up in a Master Slide and will work over multiple slides without pausing.
In order to get the leading zero when the minutes and seconds are in single figures, I have simply set up a change of state for the text boxes containing the variable references.
If you have any queries, just get back to me here.
