I have a counter that I would like add 1 only until it reaches 9. And then subtract 1 until it reaches 0. I have it setup to add and subtract just fine, but I really need to stop it at 9 and 0. Does anyone know I go about doing this?
With the help of my software developer husband, I can now answer my own question so I thought I'd share the answer. I'm so excited; my brain just doesn't work this way
Sorry. I should have been more clear. See, my brain just doens't work this way. I have a counter inserted in my slide with one button assigned to add 1 to the counter when the user clicks. And I have another button assigned to subtract 1 from the counter when the user clicks it.

To stop the counter from adding 1 past 9:
And to stop the counter from subtracting past 0:
Sara,
I'm curious...what happens when the counter is at, say "3". Which is greater than 0 and less than 8? Won't both of these triggers apply to it?

No, that's great!
I was thinking maybe you'd rocked out a cool 3rd variable solution to track where the counter was at.
Ha! I'll fall off my chair if I ever figure out how to pull off something that advanced.
Maybe you guys should share with the rest of us how to do that.
Have a look at this Storyline Quiz. The question counter works forward, backward and also in review mode.
