There is a course completion trigger in 360. It could be you can achieve what you want in SL3 by tracking by slides viewed or by using a javascript trigger.
If you can’t use 360, you could try try setting up one of your content slides as a quiz - maybe have it so when they click the next button it submits a correct response, and then insert a blank results slide that you make look like a regular content slide and the use it to submit the completion results.
Just curious why it’s a function in 360 and not SL3. Also, any talks of adding an easy course progress bar without having to create it on your own? I’ve watched all the tutorials. I used another authoring tool in the past that had this feature. I enjoy SL much better, just curious if that might be an option in the future. Thanks!
Our first priority is delivering a continuous stream of new features and content to Articulate 360. The vast majority of our customers are using Articulate 360, so that’s where we’re putting our focus. We know some folks are unable to switch to subscription plans or cloud apps, and if there’s anything we can do to help you make the case for Articulate 360, let us know. We’re happy to help.
We’re continuing to support Storyline 3 with bug fixes, but we aren’t adding any major new features to Storyline 3 or sharing a release schedule.

Will the Course Completion trigger be added to Storyline 3 in any future update?
Hi Diane!
We don't have plans to add the Course Completion trigger to Storyline 3 at this time. If that changes, we'll let you know!
