Course doesn't lunch on Android
Apr 26, 2017
Hello,
I have a problem with running the course (developed in SL3) on Android devices.
I published the course to LMS, incl. HTML5 output, but disabling opening the course in Articulate Mobile Player (my client doesn't want to use it). With all these settings the course runs perfectly on iOS, but doesn't even start on Android. The only thing that displays on Android is a black screen with name of the course and dots, implying the application is loading.
Can anyone help?
Thank you!
Aleksandra

Hi Aleksandra,
Sorry you're running into this! Are you using Google Chrome in Android OS 4.1 or later?
Also, try testing it in another LMS environment. SCORM Cloud is a great option--it's the industry standard, and it's free!
Keep me posted, and we'll keep digging if you're still having trouble.
Hi Alyssa,
I was testing the course on the latest version of Chrome on both Android and OS.
Meanwhile, your support team tested my course on SCORM Cloud and it worked. Then I tested it on other Android devices and it works there, so I guess the problem is with my tablet.
Anyway, it's solved now - thank you :)
Glad you found the culprit! Thanks for coming back to give me an update.
Hi Uğur,
Are you having trouble sending course data to your LMS when using Chrome for Android?
If so, can you share the unpublished Storyline file with me? I can help you test it in SCORM Cloud.
Simply click here and attach the file in a new thread comment. Thanks!
