I have a problem creating an interaction within a course I'm creating. I need to create a sequence where a button is pressed down and held while some doors open, but if the button is let go before the doors are fully open they stop. Unfortunately the customer also wants this course on the iPad so Flash is out of the equation.
I am having real trouble visualising a concept on how to complete this interaction so any ideas and help will be gratefully received.
On your button there is a state 'Down', foresee a trigger taht starts your layer when pressed. When the state is normal (eg when the user stops pressing the button) you hide the layer.

How about putting the door opening on a layer
All the door animation is on that special layer
