course isn`t running as exspectet on my nexus10

May 21, 2013

Hi,

I built a little course with the 30day tryal version. Only one scene with 6 slides.  Most of them with a charakter, some images and textboxes, that come one by one.

On one slide the user has to click the right textbox and then the box is hidden and shown at another position afterwards. I worked with layers in this slide.

On one slide I built an animation by pasteing an objekt many times and show it at different positions along a path.

On  another slide I built a drag and drop form with four textboxes that should be dragged to the right place on a picture.

I published the course in ILIAS.

This all works well in my PC with different browsers, but it isn`t working  on  my nexus.

The first problem is, that I cant scroll or move the  course. Because of this I can`t see everything.

Then there is a little problem with the textbox that Is hidden and schown at another place afterwards. You could read the text in the first box very well but in the new box that grows in there are only big grey pixel instead ob text.

At  last the drag and drop is not working. The textboxes that should be draged are not visible on the tablet.

I read your instructions about publishing and the related texts and all seems to be right.

Is there anything that I can try to make it work on the tablet?

And is there an option to move  the course around on the tablet so I can see everything?

Thanks for helping me

Svenja

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes, Svenja!

Unfortunately, the Nexus tablet is not currently a supported mobile device. Right now, only the iPad is supported for Flash and HTML5 mobile output.

For more information on supported browsers, please review the following article:

System Requirements for Articulate Storyline

Another article you may want to keep for reference:

So, I'm afraid we won't be able to give any suggestions for the Nexus. However, having said all that, maybe someone that's been able to get a course up and running on that device can give you some tips :)

Thanks very much and welcome again!
