Course not continuing where left off

I have several courses that do not seem to "continue where left off". Due to work constraints, employees sometimes have to log out and complete a course on a different day. Sometimes the get the "resume where left off", other times they have to start all over. I do have the "resume where left off" checked on the player as well as "prompt to resume".
We do use an independent LMS. Is this a cookies/browser/history/ issue? I also have the "when running in LMS ignore flash cookie" checked off. Would it make a difference if i changed "prompt to resume" to "always resume"
Would like the courses to 'resume where left off " every time.

Hey there Pryce,
This could be due to the SCORM suspend data limit, which tells the learning management system (LMS) where you leave off when you exit the course and lets you resume the course later in the same place without having to start over. You can read more on that here.
It's also worth confirming that it's not an issue with your LMS, so you may want to look at testing it in another environment such as SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for LMS Testing. The article linked there will walk you through testing steps and help see how it'll behave in another environment.
I also read a discussion about whether or not my Lms supports bookmarking. I may have the wrong setting checked off.
