Hello I have created a course with an assessment that has unlimited attempts. If I fail the first attempt and try to take the second attempt, I am unable to click on any answer options. It almost seems like the question is locked and is not taking a response.Does anyone know why this could be happening?
Here's the zip file. It seems to work fine when I play it through storyline, but when I publish it to the LMS or watch it in SCORM, that's when I run into the issue. It's like it's a bug in the program. Appreciate the help!
After looking at your course it worked perfectly for me, even the quiz retry. is there a way you could share your .story file? that way i could look at how it is published.
What I am seeing is that if you move your retry button to the failure layer, it automatically deselects the ability to retry the quiz from the menu.
So what I did was remove the button from the failure layer and reselected the "Allow user to retry quiz" option in the options menu. I then saved it. See if this works for you.
I am happy to help. I found that if I am trying to help others, I learn better myself. So technically you are helping me out.
If you select the item on a pick many screen, select "States" then "Edit States". You should be able to click the selected state, then choose a different color from the "Shape Effects" menu at the top of the screen.
Have you ever had a problem trying to publish? Often times I will go to publish and it will freeze and not move so I'll close out Storyline. Then when I launch again, it publishes fine.
In some cases, you may find that the publishing process hangs in Articulate Storyline, or there may appear to be no progress at all. This is an erratic issue, and we're working with affected users to fix it.
In the meantime, we've improved the publishing process in the latest Storyline 2 update 5. If the publishing process hangs for you, install the latest update and try again. If it persists, send us your Storyline log files for review. See below for details.
I have had all sorts of trouble with it freezing, but I am using a 6 year old government laptop that is pretty much topped out just to run the program. Most of the time, I save, if I can, and close. Then I reopen and work until it happens again.

Shivani,
On the edit results slide screen, in the options menu, is the button checked to allow the user to retry the quiz?
I took a snip shot from my quiz results slide to show the menu I am talking about.
I'm having the same problem. I have all those boxes checked. Should they not be checked?
Could it be that the system is catching up and it's not as fast as the user?
The allow user to retry box should be checked if you want them to be able to try it again.
Looks like Terry is assisting you here Lindsey, but let us know if we need to take a look at your .story file :)

Thanks for your help with this. I'm in a time crunch and can't figure out how to fix it!

THANK YOU! It works!

In my example snip, I changed it to green...
Thanks so much for helping Lindsey out here Terry :)
It all helps me too.
Exactly. A great example of what makes this community work :)
After I sent this, I figured it out! Sometimes it just takes a minute to look away!
Thanks again!! :)
I do that too. I save it, shut it down and take five minutes before i look at it again... More often than not I figure it out.
