Course shows 4 test attempts on users first attempt. LMS shows 1

Anyone have any idea where I begin to investigate where the problem is?

Built in storyline, published as 1.2 via zip.  Final test allows for 5 attempts.  Have approx 100 courses like this format/template.

Tested in scormcloud, works fine.

Host in LMS, 100 +/- students in a course.  3-5 of them will get to the test and it will show 4/5 attempts on their first visit to the test. Random students have this and random courses have this happening.  

I can't figure out where to begin.

Hi Josh,

When you tested in SCORM Cloud did you see 4 attempts or 1? How many attempts do you think the user actually completed? If you're not seeing enough attempts, I'd look at a setting within the LMS to see if it's only going to track the first attempt. 

Within Storyline you can track and limit attempts as outlined here.

You're seeing too many attempts in SCORM Cloud? Hmm, that's definitely odd.

Would you mind sharing the original (unpublished) file with our team? That way we can publish it on our end, test it in SCORM Cloud, and compare that to what you're seeing.
