Course stuck for some users

I built a course where the 2nd slide has 5 branching tabs (Main Menu) The tabs must be viewed in order so only the 1st tab is active when the user navigates to the page. When brought back to the Main Menu first and second tabs are active and so on. Some users click the first tab - view the subsequent slides but when brought back to the Main Menu, the second tab will not activate.
They have tried launching the course via different browsers - same results.
Please advise.

Presumably you're using variables to lock the tabs? Is it possible that some learners aren't completing the correct action to change the variable? For instance if it is set for 'when timeline ends' are they clicking 'next' too early?
The variable set is that after the active tab is clicked the user is taken to the next slide. At anytime the user can click Main Menu and the next tab should then activate. Basically when a tab is clicked, the next tab should automatically active.
While it works for the vast majority of users there are some that when brought back to the main menu the next tab will not activate.
Hmm.... it seems odd that it should work for some but not for others.
Have you checked your trigger order for each tab - should be 1. activate next tab 2. jump to slide
If this doesn't help is there any way you could post the .story file?
I have checked all my triggers - As you mentioned it does work for most users so I do know that the triggers operate properly. I will try to upload the file for your review.
I would say it was a triggers issue, or do you have the player menu active and they are usesing that to navigate?
without seeing the project it is difficult to diagnose, perhaps even screenshots of the triggers
I submitted a case and uploaded my course package yet I never heard back from anyone.

Hi Amy! Are you referring to the case you filed on 8/12 (case #00350038)? I see where Jayem worked with you and since neither you nor he could reproduce this issue, he requested that you obtain a screencast from the user. Did you get the e-mail? It would have come from support@articulate.com on 8/12/13.
