I've only just started using Storyline, so everything I do is an experiment right now! I created a course and uploaded it to our LMS so I could test it, and although the course tracking window opens, the course doesn't mark complete when I finish it and close the window. If I change the link in the LMS from the story.html file to the .index_lms.html file, the course marks complete. Is this expected behaviour, or am I doing something wrong?
If when using the index_lms.html file your course is still not completing correctly, it may also be that Articulates default message to your LMS is not correct

Choose of 4 values. The value for your LMS should be somewhere in your LMS documentation
Why did you have to re-publish? When I published for LMS I got a whole bunch of different html files, so when the story.html file didn't work I just changed the link to use the index_lms.html file - I didn't re-publish. Am I missing something else?
we had to republish because the default value sent to our LMS, Passed/Incomplete, had to be changed into complete/incomplete.
That's why I inserted the printscreens and explained that even by changing the file name, it sometime is necessary to change the completed parameter. Not all LMS's use the same value to get notified that a course is finished. luckely there's only 4 possible values

Hi Julie,
Story.html is not interfacing with your LMS.
The file that needs to be run is index_lms.html.
If when using the index_lms.html file your course is still not completing correctly, it may also be that Articulates default message to your LMS is not correct

Thanks, Geert. I was afraid that might be the case. This obviously isn't going to be as straightfoward - or as slick - as I had thought it would be.
Julie,
we stumbled on this after all our courses were published.
So we had to republish and re-upload the lot (68 modules)
Now it is part of our checklist

Okay, Geert, thanks - now I understand. I always use Complete/Incomplete anyway, so i missed the significance of that point.
Cheers,
Julie
