Our courses published with SL2 are displayed in a very small size on a Android tablet (Galaxy Tab 2). It is like if they were on a mobile phone... They will only resize correctly after turning the tablet upside down.
Suprisingly, the courses can be played normally with the default Android browser.
Thank you for the information. So it seems Andoid version does matter since you have the same version of Chrome as me and your colleague an older version...
Anyone in the community can try on Android 4.1.x or 4.2.x ?
I just checked and I have a Galaxy tablet with Android 4.2 and viewing this in Chrome, everything displays at the correct size when I first view it and when I rotate the course from landscape to portrait and back again and I'm in Chrome version 32.
I have a very similar problem with Chrome. I have courses loaded into Moodle as SCORM packages. Via Chrome, the course initially shows very small, until I expand and then collapse the "menu" provided within Moodle. Then the course displays full size. It looks just like the images Quentin provided above. Via IE, this is not an issue and the course initially displays full size. Chrome Version 39.0.2171.95 m (64-bit)
So I was discussing this with a few other members of our team, and it seems there is a known issue right now with Moodle that the content is being displayed in a frame that is small. Essentially Storyline can only display the content in the frame we're given, and in this scenario it looks to be a iFrame that is 150-pixel high. You could do a bit of additional testing to confirm this by loading the course to SCORM Cloud and then viewing to see how it behaves outside of Moodle.
We indeed at first found the issue on PC with Chrome and fixed it by changing in the CSS the max-width to 5000 px (to allow display on a 4K TV !). But this did not work for Android tablet... We will upload a course on another LMS and will let you know.
So, we tested the course on another Platform and did not find the small display issue (even though the course did not launch automatically and showed a big play button).
It sounds to be definitely a Moodle issue with Android 4.1 and below (but not an issue with 4.2 and above ?)
Is there also a way to have the course launched automatically and not showing the big (and ugly) play button as it were a video?
I'm glad you were able to test on another platform and narrow down where the display issue is.
There is not a feature in Storyline to force the courses to autoplay or remove the launch page that you may be seeing in the HTML5 content, although there may be some community generated methods shared here in the forums.

Hi Quentin!
You can check out our Storyline 2 viewing requirements here. How were you viewing the content if not in the Android browser?
Hi Leslie,
The tablet does meet the requirements (OS and Chrome).
Here is a screen of the course when launched:
And the screens after turning the tablet:
If you can try it on another Android tablet, I created a account for you :

It is the 3rd course on the list, but any other course have the same issue
Thank you very much for your help.
Hi Quentin!
Thanks for the update and for allowing me access to take a look.
Unfortunately I'm not seeing the same behavior on my tablet nor is my colleague.
That's interesting. Just to double check, which device / OS / Chrome version did you use ?
My tablet is a Galaxy Tabe 2 / Android 4.1.1 / Chrome 39.0.2171.93
One of my colleague found the same issue on her Asus tablet.
Hi Quentin!
The device that I tested on:
Galaxy Tab 4/Android 4.4.2/Chrome 39.0.2171.93
My colleague:
Nexus 7/Android 4.3/Chrome 27.0.1
Thank you for the information. So it seems Andoid version does matter since you have the same version of Chrome as me and your colleague an older version...

Hi Quentin,
I just checked and I have a Galaxy tablet with Android 4.2 and viewing this in Chrome, everything displays at the correct size when I first view it and when I rotate the course from landscape to portrait and back again and I'm in Chrome version 32.
Thank you Ashley.
So Android 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 are winners! No matter the version of Chrome (?)
Any other test from the community is very welcome! Especially to confirm (or not) the issue with Android 4.1.
PS : Screenshots above are the 4th course in the list, Leslie's screenshot is the 3rd course (my bad).
Hi Quentin,
That seems to be the case - and I had done the third course in the list as well.
Hopefully someone with Android 4.1 is able to pop in here too!
My colleague's ASUS tablet is Android 4.1.2 / Chrome 39.0.2171.93.
To summarize :
KO : Android 4.1.1 / 4.1.2
OK : Android 4.2 / 4.3 / 4.4.2
If some has Android 4.1.x, please help us using Leslie's account:

Thank you all!

Jennifer,
It sounds like your issue is connected to a known bug in Google Chrome as detailed here in Chrome's bug base.
