How can I insert closed captioning into a slide or add alternate text to an image so the courseware supports screen readers and is accessible to persons with hearing and sight impairments?
I knew the Alt Text was somewhere and was searching all over -- except the Size and Position dialog. If there's no closed captioning, I'll just use the Notes. Thanks for the response, Ashley.
Incidentally, does anyone know a way to edit the Notes without having to open the Record Microphone dialog and click the "Narration script" icon?

Storyline does not have a built in closed captioning feature, but there are a number of community generated solutions, and a few methods described by members of our team here.
You may also want to look into using the alt text feature that you can enable within the size and position window of an image or text box:
