Hi - I'm new to Story Line. How do I convert the course to a video. In some cases, I would like to create MP4 files for users to view, rather than interact with. I could see it as an option in the guides, however I don't have the video output option in the publish screen.
I don't know which version of Storyline you are using, but for Storyline 360 you should have the Video option when you select Publish:
Unfortunately I can't speak with certainty for other versions as 360 is what I have always used; however, looking at the User Guide, it may not be an available option for earlier versions.
Use Techsmith Camtasia to record your presentation with audio if you're in a pinch. It has a free trial to get it done right now. We use this so when we have to submit our modules for legal submission, it also captures the navigation too (we can't submit HTML for legal submission).

Hello John and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
I'm glad that Ned was able to pop in and help you here.
It looks like you may be using Storyline 3 and not Storyline 360, so I wanted to share this comparison chart with you.
