Hello!
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am having issues with a Storyline project where am creating training on using the web application. The training is based on many short video tutorials, captured by recording my screen with Storyline. I haven’t yet added any navigation yet – still just capturing all of the many videos but Storyline quits unexpectedly on me. I have restarted my machine many times and have nothing other than a word document (script) and a web browser open which I am recording.
I seem to really experience issues when I am capturing (immediately afterwards when it is bringing the footage into Storyline) as well as when I use the video editing tool within Storyline. Storyline is prone to quitting at these times. Also sometimes when using the play head in story line to identify where I am in the capture to add masking shapes or call out arrows can be problematic. The audio sometimes “un synchs” from the video, which makes it hard to correctly determine when to add emphasizing screen info (boxes/arrows). After restarting, the audio will act normally. I am working locally on the C drive.
I am using Storyline 1.02.02, and am working on an HP laptop with:
227 GB storage - 177 GB available
3 GB of RAM
Intel core i5-2520M CPU @ 2.50Hz 2.5GHz
32 bit-operating system
Many of the errors in the error logs look like:
An application error occurred. Please contact the administrator with the following information: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. Stack Trace: at System.Windows.Forms.UnsafeNativeMethods.PeekMessage(MSG& msg, HandleRef hwnd, Int32 msgMin, Int32 msgMax, Int32 remove) at System.Windows.Forms.Application.ComponentManager.System.Windows.Forms.UnsafeNativeMethods.IMsoComponentManager.FPushMessageLoop(Int32 dwComponentID, Int32 reason, Int32 pvLoopData) at System.Windows.Forms.Application.ThreadContext.RunMessageLoopInner(Int32 reason, ApplicationContext context) at System.Windows.Forms.Application.ThreadContext.RunMessageLoop(Int32 reason, ApplicationContext context) at System.Windows.Forms.Application.Run(ApplicationContext context) at a.g.a.a()
Has anyone else experienced this?? And any recommendations on fixing the issues?
Many many thanks,
Lisa
