Crashing with Publish and Preview (storyline 3)

I have inherited a file from a colleague who no longer works with me. This file was created in Storyline 3 and I am using Storyline 3. I have made some updates to the slides within the file. It was successfully published and loaded into our LMS without error. Now it is not letting me publish or even do an entire project preview without crashing. This seems to be file specific, as I have done the same steps (today) with other projects I have created with no issue. I am working locally on my desktop. I have tried importing the slides into a new project and reviewed all player options and triggers, all to no avail. Is there something else I could try to get this file to publish?

Thanks for reaching out and sharing all of the steps you've taken during your troubleshooting so far. That's certainly helpful.
You mention that you were able to import the slides into a new project and still experiencing an issue with crashing? Sounds like it must be a specific slide.
Have you tried to preview/publish a few slides at a time to identify the problematic slide? That would be my next step.
I am having the same issue. Was working fine, built a new slide, then this issue.
Tried removing the slide and no luck.
Extremely frustrating as I am on a deadline.

So sorry you're hitting this roadblock. It sounds like your project was working fine until you recently added a new slide. Now Storyline is crashing, is that right?
Does it crash when you do something specific, like when you're trying to publish the file?
Also, are you working from your local hard drive, or a shared network drive?
