I am almost sure the answer is 'No' but thought of confirming it!
I have some custom developed activities and based on the result of those activities I want the course to set pass or fail status on LMS. Is that by any chance possible ?
Well, I wanted to create a drag and drop with following requirement:
- Use images as drags
- When all drags are placed on targets, enable submit
- Once user submits, disable those placed correctly and snap back those answered incorrectly
I tried using the drag-n-drop activity provided in Quiz section but nither it allows to add images as drags nor it helps to achieve the required functionality. As well as I have one activity of multiple true and false statements on a same page (around 10 statements in tabular form). I did not find any workaround to implement this tru-false activity using the currently prodided interactivities in the quiz section.
Along with above acitivites I need scoring and result which I can implement manually but not sure how to track these and how to send scores and how to 'cmi.core.lesson_status' on LMS ?
Not sure you'll be able to work all of those requirements into your course, but Button Sets might be the first answer you're looking for. They enable you to create interactions in which a user can select only one object at a time out of a group of objects. This means you can make just about any object behave like a radio button. This feature works great with Storyline's ready-made buttons as well as pictures, screenshots, shapes, captions, characters, markers, and more. Here's how to add button sets in Storyline.
As far as tracking goes, Storyline is designed primarily as an elearning development tool to be used in conjunction with Articulate Online or your own Learning Management System (LMS).
For the best results and most accurate reporting, we recommend using Articulate Online:

I am confident of implementing drag-n-drop activity with the buttons and the powerful actions storyline provides. Just that creating a custom quiz activities seems not possible at the moment.
