Hi Trang,

It looks like Rehan pointed you towards some great tutorials on how to set up and use the theme colors and fonts. You mentioned not being able to get them to work, and I'd like to find out a little bit more what you mean about that? Did you set them up and save them, but they're not being applied? Were you not able to save them at all for use? Without a bit more information it's hard to say for certain, but it sounds like a repair of Storyline may be in order.

Hi Rehan and Ashely,

Thank you for your posts.

Before posting my question, I already went through the tutorials that Rehan pointed but it did not work.

I followed the links that Ashley pointed by asking the IT officer in my company to unistall and re-install but I still can't create a new theme as it doesn't save and no "Edit theme" function.

Hi Trang,

Do you not see an option to "Save the theme" as indicated below - or it doesn't save?

If you don't see that option at all, I'd also look into what DPI setting you're using, as using something other than 96 DPI can cause elements of the application to be misplaced or missing.  You would then see this when you open a different Storyline project and click the Design tab, your customized theme will appear in the thumbnails, and you can apply it to slides in your project.

There is not necessarily an "Edit theme" button - but the editing occurs while you adjust other elements such as the theme colors or fonts, or slide masters, and then save it as a new theme.

I have the same problem with QuizMaker 2013. You can create a custom theme font but the only editing allowed is to change the font for the heading and body. There is no option to control the font size. I'm trying to create a simple theme where the heading is Arial 14pt and the body is Arial 12pt. If I can do that, I would then apply them to the slide masters. There is a definite problem because whenever I create a new question slide, the slide masters seem to be ignored so I assume that something must be done with the default theme.

Hi Michael,

Did you look at doing this on the slide masters themselves? This forum discussion references Storyline, but Quizmaker has slide masters too and it sounds like this is where you're making the change?

You may need to check your Text Box Formatting and be sure that you do not have an auto-fit setting on:
