Create a save button

Hi, I've created a software stimulation and would like to add a save button on each slide. I hope to set it up so that if the save button is clicked on a slide and the slide is revisited, the properties resume the saved state, though if the user forgets to press save the properties reset to the initial state of the slide. 

Help to do this would be greatly appreciated!
