Create a text box that shows when the course was last updated

One possible option may be to add the text on the master slide. Or, you could add an item "About This Course" to the player that would show the update info, help info, etc. in a lightboxed slide.

Were you attempting to get the course to automatically pull that information from the file properties?  I'm not sure if there is a way to do that.

Mike's suggestions seems easier.  You just add a textbox wherever you want it to be displayed, and change it when the course changes.

Thanks for the reply. And sorry for the late reply. Yes I am trying to pull an information from the updated file. We have this kind of auto update option in PowerPoint but I wasn't the one who created it. We are migrating in Storyline and I am trying to create a new template for us.
