Create ability to move pics around a scene

Mar 16, 2017

Hello I am wondering if there is an easy way for someone with limited programming experience to use the attached.  My goal is I would like to freely be able to move the pictures around the "game" board while teaching a live course.

Can anyone assist with the thought process on how to make this happen if possible?  I'd greatly appreciate any feedback.

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you want teach a live Storyline class and use this interaction as an example or do you want to use this interaction as a teaching tool in a class on reimbursement... something? Currently the only 'active' elements are the scooter pics. If you want to move them around the gameboard, I would think they need to be drag objects. Also, I'm not sure what the motion paths on these pics are meant to do.

Hi Kristin! You can convert this slide to a "Drag and Drop" interaction by clicking Insert > Convert to Freeform > Drag and Drop. That'll give your game board pieces "draggable" functionality. Be sure that the Feedback, Shuffle, Results Slide, and Score are all set to None, since this isn't going to be used as a real quizzing slide. Here's a link to the published output, if you'd like to test it.
