In Wendy's example you'll notice that the different phases of the moon are shown in the states panel. To make this appear to move more smoothly you would need to add more states in between each phase.
Attached is an example where I've used 100 states to create a smooth transition.
Hi, Stephane -- Looks like you are getting some great assistance here! I thought I might also stop in and mention that you'd be welcome to pose this design-related question over here in our Building Better Courses forum, as well. :)

Hello david,
Can you explain me the counter, is it a variable or a special function ?
Hi Stephane,
The counter shows the value of the variable 'Slider1' and can be deleted if you don't need it, it's for display purposes only so isn't critical.
Hope this helps.
Hello David
No i want too keep it, but can you explain me what kind of item is it
I didn't find in the help assistance or discuss "%text%
How does it work ?

Hi Stephane!
That looks like a variable reference.
Variables collect and store data in Articulate Storyline. Variable references let you display that information anywhere in your course. Here's how.
Thank you very much Leslie. ;-D
