I created the project, and it runs fine on my PC. But when I send the project and all the files to others, and they double click on story.html, it comes up with this error message "You'll need a new app to open this artmobileplayer." It then looks for the app, and can't find it. No one can run the app once I send it out. Thoughts?
I'm still learning a lot about SL. I feel like I need to go back through the Youtube tutorials as a refresher since I have a lot more context now for things mentioned there. I don't mind corrections at all either, don't want to give anyone bad advice. Thank you!
Thanks everyone for the great replies! Discovered the problem. I sent it as a zip file. The receiver opened the zip file and doubleclicked on the html. They should have moved all of the files out of the zip file and then doubleclicked the html. User error.
Thanks for that update Lee and glad it was such a simple fix on your end. Even if they're viewing it locally they may still encounter security restrictions, so you may want to look at uploading into the intended environment as I mentioned.

If you don't want to require mobile users to have the Articular Mobile Player installed, then you can un-check that option when you publish. They will then see the HTML5 version of the course: https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-storyline-2/articles/publishing-a-course-for-mobile-devices
HI Lee,
I'd also want to confirm that you're sharing the published output with users by linking them to the published output hosted in the intended environment.
Very good point Ashely, I didn't catch the "send all files to others" part...
You can't be perfect everytime, Mike. Although you do a pretty stellar job at getting there. ;-)
