Creating a trigger

Jan 10, 2019

Hi everyone!

I want to create a trigger, that make the user jump automatically to the next slide if he/she chooses one option in a multiple choice quiz (I want a speedy quiz, and don't want that the user always have to click on the submit button)

The trigger wizard is hard to understand for me, because it would be so simple because i just have two rediobuttons... The trigger should be something like:

If user clicks on Radiobutton 1 or radiobutton 2 go to next slide.

But I'm unable to create that trigger - someone have an idea for me?

Thank you!

Hi Julie! This is definitely doable, and I'm happy to help you with your design.

First, does this slide have a correct answer? Also, do you want this slide to be scored? It sounds like both radio button 1 and radio button 2 are correct answers, is that right?

If you can tell me a little more about how this slide should work, I'll put together a quick sample slide for you!

Hey!

Yes, it should be scored in a quiz, and there is always a right and a false question. The user can review the quiz after finishing and complete an online lesson to learn more about it in a LMS, so in my opinion it is very comfortable if they just have to click one of the buttons and suddenly see the next slide.

Thank you!

Thanks for that extra detail, Julie!

Check out the short sample file I created for you. It has two quiz slides, and each slide has two triggers:

  • Submit interaction when user clicks Radio button 1
  • Submit interaction when user clicks Radio button 2

Also, the Feedback setting on each slide is set to No Feedback.

Let me know if this is what you had in mind!
