When I recorded my software application in Storyline I get no prompts or call out boxes. Did I miss a step or forget something? I just show click click on the menu. I click and see data just no prompts or call out boxes.
did you do the recording as a single video or step by step - in step by step you will get hints and captions.
If you have recorded as single video, it will be listed in your Insert > recording list. You can select it again and it will ask how you want to insert it - choose step by step and then select from the dropdown.
Hi Wendy I did select it again and insert it and selected the step by step from the dropdown menu, and I show no hints or captions, so I wonder if it's the software I am videoing and how Storyline interacts with the software.

Perhaps Craig. Are you performing an action that you would expect to get a caption on? You've turned the captions on as shown below, correct?
You were right Leslie It's the simple steps missed.. :) That box must not have been checked, I deleted and re-did the work. I am good for now. Thanks
