I've been asked to develop an e-learning module as part of my tertiary studies and it can be emailed to the lecturer as an .swf or .ppt file. I would much rather design in Storyline than Powerpoint.
How would I produce an .swf file from Storyline 2, and would it be too big to email? It will be a 20 minute module.
Storyline published content doesn't produce a single .swf but a bunch of files and folders. You could upload your published content to some web server and email the URL. Or, you could publish your content for CD and use the Email option in the publish dialog to zip up the content and email it.
When you're using the Publish to CD, you'll want to play the Launch_Story.exe file after extracting the contents of the zipped folder to your computer.
Let us know if you're still having trouble after those steps!

Thanks Michael. I don’t have access to a web server I can use so I tried option 2 but when I open the .html file I just get a blank white screen.
