Creating computer software training with storyline

An IT colleague has just asked me if software training such as Microsoft Word can be produced through storyline
She sent the link:
http://www.customguide.com/microsoft-office-training/word-2003-training
which has the online learning demo for each application.
it looks flash based, however the user clicks on various links on the page which opens up the applications, and boxes appear through this process (if that makes sense?) My first thoughts were creating each screen shot (whether its a full page or a box) as an image, and as the user progresses the appropriate screen shots appear. Then use the trigger facility to highlight areas that the mouse moves over.....so it looks doable with storyline....

Hi Kate,
It's a perfect tool for this, but why use screenshots?
We have screen recording built into SL, so why not use Show, Try and Test Modes?
See http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/inserting-and-customizing-screen-recordings.aspx for further information.

thanks Bruce, I thought it would be a lot easier then I first envisaged! Ill check out the tutorials on the link you suggested
cheers Kate
