Creating Custom Characters
Jun 15, 2015
Hello everyone. I want to create hot spots for a safety course that allow participants to add/remove personal items according to the safety protocols. I'm looking for suggestions on how to build custom characters (or customize the characters I have). The things I'd like to add/change are: clothing, accessories (jewelry, ties, scarves, belts, shoes), hair length, as well as other items like cellphones and fast food drinks. Hopefully, there's a template out there (on safety or even dress for success) that I'm not aware of that could help me with this. Any suggestions you have for this Storyline newbie are appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Kim! Hopefully some community members will be able to assist you here, but I do know we have this safety related template here.
I use Adobe Illustrator to create all my characters. The symbol function is a great time saver when I create different characters with only minor changes.
Hi Leslie! Thank you for the template. It's a great example. Any chance this is available in Storyline 1?
Hi Jerson, Thanks for the suggestion regarding Illustrator. I don't that software; however, I do have one that might work.
Dang, sorry about that Kim :) I'm not sure of one right off hand, but be sure to check out our Download section here.
