Creating my own menu
Mar 20, 2013
I am looking to use a DVD style menu for a programme I am developing. I produced an appropriate template in photoshop, with each chapter labelled. I then put a hotspot over each chapter number so that the chapter name appears as the mouse hovers over the number. I have also added an extra trigger so that when the number is clicked the user is taken to the begining of the relevant chapter. So far so good.
I thought it would be a nice touch if the menu came up as a lightbox, which I have done but now I find that when I click on the relevant chapter that too comes up as a lightbox, which is about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.
Is it possible to have the menu as a lightbox but not the subsequent slides?
Any advice appreciated
Paul

Hello Paul,
Make sure to add a trigger on the menu to "close lightbox" first before they jump to the beginning slide of your chapter.

Donna,
Thanks for that...i did actually discover the close light box option after I had posted but still couldn't get it to work. Having read your reply I moved the close light box trigger above the go to slide trigger and bingo, it worked!
I knew there had to be a solution. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
