Creating Quizes for Authorisations

Jul 03, 2015

Hi I am looking for some ideas on how to create a quiz that would be robust enough to be accepted by a nationally accredited body.

An example of what I would ideally like to do would be if they answer a question incorrectly and their actions would or could cause a major accident then I would like to stop them in their tracks and not enable them to continue with the exam.

I am also looking at a way to build a question that would enable users to create a model that replicated a diagramatical sequence.  We currently ask them to draw a sketch which has all relevant information related to point of work, position of safety locks, caution notices and other specific safety equipment.  I was thinking of creating a bank of pictures / symbols etc which would need to be dragged and dropped into a specific pattern but I am not sure if that would work.  Any ideas etc would be welcome.

Can I also just clarify that there is no benefit to use having standalone Quizmaker if we have Articulate 2?

I look forward to you help.

Hi Marion,

I'll defer to the community for assistance in terms of your design and instructional questions, but wanted to share that the built in quiz types that exist in Quizmaker also exist in Storyline. You're welcome to use both, as you'll be able to import from Quizmaker into Storyline - so it's entirely up to you where/how you start. If you'll be doing some more customization of your quiz questions, I'd suggest using Storyline as you can add elements such as triggers, variables, etc.
