Creating Storyline courses for staff

Jun 18, 2014

I work at a university and am beginning to use Storyline for Web courses aimed at staff training. I would like to standardize the overall look of these courses. I am curious about how others use Storyline for staff training, particularly at higher education institutions. Is it more common to incorporate Storyline's graphic avatars or to use photographs? Does anyone have examples of Web courses designed for employee training that were developed with Storyline? I would also like to know if others have used both UPK and Storyline to demonstrate how to use software. What challenges or benefits did one program have over the other?

Hi Debra,

You will find plenty of new hire/orientation course demos by visiting the community showcase here : https://www.articulate.com/community/showcase.php

I haven't used UPK (assuming you are talking about Oracle UPK) at all - IMHO Storyline or Captivate are the defacto choices for software simulation interactions.

Hope this helps,
Alex
