I really want to present data in a table in one of my projects but can't find a way to do so. I tried creating the table in Word and copy/pasting it. Disaster. Any help?
Table functions aren't yet a feature in Storyline though there are workarounds. You could create something in Word or another program and then create an image out of it and insert the image; it "might" look OK. You can also build a table piece by piece using text boxes and then carefully aligning them. I know tables have been a common request so you could add your voice to a feature request for version 2.
Hey Brett. Thanks for your insight on tables. Not the answer I wanted, but I'd rather know than beat my head trying to find something not there! I can only guess the volume of requests for this feature so hopefully we'll see if soon.
How about using a web object to embed the table? I'm not sure what functionality you are looking for with it but if you need spreadsheet like features then a web object might be the way to go.
