Creating user choice with states
Dec 15, 2016
Ok, here we go! I want to create an action when a user selects a color(let's say it's a rectangle colored red) and then is able to color another object(circle) with that particular color. I have two colors that I would like to use and 8 circles for users to color. I have achieved this with a click(red) and double click(black) action but thought it might be cleaner if the user can choose a color first and then fill the shape by clicking it. I am creating a fraction elearning program the problem is below:
Melissa made 5/8 strawberry pies and 3/8 blackberry pies.....
So, I want students to visualize the strawberry and blackberry pies by coloring the circles with the corresponding color. Thanking for responses in advance!

Hi Makeba
if you have a file started could you upload here - will be easier for someone to help you if they can work with your specific file setup.
Yes! I have figured it out. I fumbled through until I cracked the code...works great!
Good for you Makeba - good luck with your project!
For anybody looking for a way to do this, see the attached sample.
